Gerry Sadleir began his career in 1986 working for Concrete Solutions, one of the pioneers and a respected, well known leader in the Decorative Concrete Resurfacing Industry. Gerry served as the Vice President of Concrete Solutions for 25 years, and taught training classes in Las Vegas each month for 14 years. He is recognized, along with his brother Rod Sadleir, for being the first to develop and introduce 1/4″ Stamped Overlays into Las Vegas and at the World of Concrete Show in 1995. Concrete Solutions’ products are still number one in Las Vegas and have been used at Circus Circus, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Green Valley Ranch, Desert Inn, Sunset Station, Red Rock, Las Vegas Club, Sahara, and many other casinos throughout the world.

Besides 1/4″ Stamping, in 2001 Gerry developed another industry changing product called Spray-Top. Spray-Top Cement was the first product of its kind introduced at the World of Concrete in 2002. Spray-Top is a revolutionary polymer modified cement that can be sprayed over regular or stamped concrete surfaces like paint. It sprays on thin and smooth like paint, but is actually real cement.  |

In 2005, Gerry met Ben Ashby in Las Vegas at the World of Concrete Show. After seeing photos of Ben’s work, Gerry was impressed with the natural beauty and natural stone appearance of Ben’s Countertop System. Within a couple of weeks Gerry signed an agreement with Ben, on behalf of Concrete Solutions, to have exclusive rights to his system. Since then Ben and Gerry have become great friends and have enjoyed working together to provide quality training, products, and technical support to anyone interested in learning the Ashby Countertop System. Below are some job photos of former student’s work after taking our 3 day training class taught by Ben Ashby.
In 2011, Gerry Sadleir, along with his brother Rod Sadleir and nephew Bart Sadleir were voted into the Decorative Concrete Hall of Fame (sponsored by Concrete Decor Magazine) for their achievements and contributions to the Decorative Concrete Industry.

Besides truck beds, Rhino Linings is involved in many other industries, such as epoxy coatings and specialty products for the military. They became interested in the decorative concrete industry, and approached Concrete Solutions with an offer to buy their company in March of 2011. Concrete Solutions accepted their offer and as of May 1st, 2011 Rhino Linings has been the new owner of Concrete Solutions, except for the countertop portion of the business. Gerry Sadleir now owns Countertop Solutions and is working with Ben Ashby to promote the Ashby System throughout the world. Rhino Linings is working closely with Countertop Solutions.
